Julianne Moore

Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is a Hollywood actor and writer who has received critical recognition for her skills. Sagittarius by birth and born on the 3rd of December 60 at North Carolina. She is one of the three oldest children to Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a parachutist. She's of English and Scottish heritage. Moore had a difficult time as her family was constantly shifting due to her father's job. Moore started acting in play after she relocated with her family members to Germany. The school she attended was Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with a B.F.A. in Theater. Moore's career began at New York with Off-Broadway Theater immediately following graduating. Moore first appeared on an episode of The Edge of Night, which was telecast on the network in 1985. In 1986, she took on the dual roles of Frannie as well as Sabrina Hughes in As the World Turns, which was her break. This show lasted until 1988, and she won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made her debut as an actress in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Later she said it was a low budget film. She appeared in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both produced by Robert Altman. In the latter, she won several awards and critical acclaim. Moore played her first big performance in Safe in 1995, a movie. The actress' career took a turn as Steven Spielberg cast her to star in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which became one of the top-grossing films in 1997. The actress received an SAG Awards nomination in Magnolia at the end of 1999. The Hours, a 2002 film in which she co-starred with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep was nominated for 9 Academy Awards. Moore was also in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. In 2014 she appeared in Non-Stop. Moore has been in many movies and television shows. Most recently, she starred as the lead in When You Finish Saving The World (2022). She has established her career in Hollywood and is a successful children's book author. She released her first book in 2007 Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became the N.Y.T. The book was a huge best selling book, then transformed into a television show as well as musical. Moore also published My Mom is Foreigner, the memoir of 2013. As a well-achieved actress and author Moore's personal life is public domain. She split from John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich is the father of two children. Moore's primary focus is on her family, friends and her work.
